One day He revealed everything
He looks from my eyes
He listens by my ears

Walks on my legs
Touches by my hands and
Loves by my heart.

What does one see when one "sees God?" Is it the typical artists' rendering of the old man with the long white beard? Perhaps those who believe that God is the wall at the end of the universe and not a doorway into infinity are simply looking in the wrong way and seeing what they expect to see, like the Buddha one meets on the road that one is supposed to kill. In my view, looking to a God as an end to things is like worshipping an image, a manifestation of the mind and not a real God at all. Such a God is a dead end, a trap that some people willingly fall into because it makes them feel good and protected, perhaps like one's father did in one's infancy.

Who says infinity goes only one way?

Jesus was talking about GOD when he said: "Who am I? What am I? As I am I am NOT." It isn't hard to imagine what this means is: once I define who I am, then I am no longer the person I set out to be. Therefore, eliminating the need for any reference point, beginning or end or for that matter any concept of what IS. GOD would not say "I'm it" - relative to what? Did you know that Albert Einstein said that time is an illusion...more like a fluid we can combine, dilute and filter. To him, all events are happening at once. However, he also had to learn that an event can appear to happen and ultimately never have happened at the same time, according to the emerging science of Quantum Physics.

*Note* the following is just a metaphor. To much to go into, but feel free to email me. I am making a career out of comparative-religion after all.

I am almost convinced that I am the head honcho of not only this universe, but of all universes. We all are. Just as a Father puts his child's concerns first, GOD has mounted his prodigal son ABOVE him. He is just waiting for all of us to return to that state, also called Enlightenment.

Hiindus believe that everything we are experiencing is GOD's mind while in a dream. When We or He wakes up, then all experience will be overlapping and appear as one. It is the only way everyone can exist as the supreme BEING and NO ONE can. Will this make sense to you if I told that the universe works much like a hologram: 1) Every element in a system is endowed with the same qualities as the macrocosm. and at the same 2) The macrocosm is built within an infinitely small microcosm. NO TWO ARE INSEPERABLE considering that 280 quintillion bits of information can be recorded in 1 sq. cent of holographic plate. (Micheal Talbot's Holographic Universe)

In many ways, Enlightement is a seperatie goal than meeting GOD, as it is the hardest goal (or should I say path) you will ever have to work towards. But both are really two sides of the same coin, since one prepares you for the other: Enlightenment is the never ending process; GOD is knowing there was never a process in the first place.
Which one is higher?

Here let me give you a little taste of how it works:

A human being is part of the whole called by us the universe, a part limited in time and space. We experience ourselves, our thoughts and feelings as something separate from the rest. A kind of optical delusion of consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from the prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty. The true value of a human being is determined by the measure and the sense in which they have obtained liberation from the self. (Albert Einstein, 1954)

In this case, self equals individual or microcosm.

All the worlds' great sages have mentioned the fact that it is necessary to advance beyond the SELF. This is written in the gospel of thomas. From Mahatma Gandhi, to the Dali Lama, here is what the Boddiharma (Buddha) said:

- To study the buddha way is to study individual-self.
- To study individual-self is to remove the self.
- To remove the self is to be enlightened by all things.
- To be enligtened by all things is to study the buddha way.

- All that is left is a revolving door, you tell me what comes next?

Yes, to the first.
Yes, to the second.
There is no way for you to become one with God no matter how much you want it/no matter who much you try...
