he wants cigrettets and drugs and food the voices tell all kinds of stuff resurch!

Maybe he should see a Dr. I had a husband like that and believe me it can ruin a relationship.

Actually all of the things you describe could be associated with a manic episode, and if he really is hearing voices it would be very serious. There are a few other symptoms that go along with it but he seems to have a few major ones. If it lasts much longer I would definetly get him to a doctor. He may come back out of it, but it's common for a manic episode to be followed by a depressive episode. Either of these could be considered bi-polar disorder, which can be a serious condiditon if left untreated.

If he hears the voices in his head it means one thing, but if the voices are in his environment then it means another

It could be the difference in getting him well now rather than later.
some mental health issues such as Manioc Depression or Bi-polar as it is called today can increase the sex drive.
you do not sound as if you feel you are in any danger yet, so that's a good sign-i think.

Sorry, but what does your husband hearing voices have to do with him wanting sex??? Are they telling him he must have it??? LOL I think he is making the voices part up- hopefully, for your sake.

If he wants sex, give it to him no matter what the voices say. You need to please your husband and then maybe he wouldn't be so crazy.
