You are very confused. China a rival??? China is a sponsor! How is a democracy like Japan going to attack North Korea. Of course maybe they should since North Korea has been kidnapping their citizens since the 60s. How about South Korea? Are you afraid of them as well? Their capital sits within range of 5,000 North Korean artillery pieces.

Yes they should have the bomb. Mutually assured destruction is the only protection available for a small country from powerful rivals. Life for a country in this world is not like the life of an American. If an American gets beaten or murdered in his home, the police arrest the culprit. I own a gun and I will use it if someone comes into my house to harm my family or myself. Keeping my family safe is paramount and I will not give up that right. North Korea also has that right.

China is North Korea`s best friend and has been for a long time. Japan`s laws prevent them form any aggression. Japan can not even defend it`s self with out help.

long time rivals? Ok, yes Japan, but Japan has no nukes! China is no rival. Without China, North Korea would simply be the northern part of 'Korea".
Any nation as unstable as N. Korea should not have weapons of mass-destruction. If Kim-Jong were an American he would be flipping burgers at Burger King and never getting laid.
I hate American foreign-policy as much as the next well-educated guy, but nations such as N.Korea and Iran should not have the bomb...no matter how much Uncle Sam makes them **** their pants in fear. India, Pakistan and Israel shouldn't even have it.

Our creator left behind a landmark in Russia for the good of mankind.
But no one seemed to be able to read it.
So everyone were living with "Fear is the key" and would like to own one too.
With time they all going to end up in the junk yards.
Wonder why the spend so much money on it with time it all going to end up in the junk yards?
While living human kind were living in misery in own backyards.
