Stammering and stuttering are the same. Go to www.stutteringhelp.org and check their e-store for the book "Self Therapy for the Stutterer" as that is how several family members who used to stutter were able to overcome it with the exception of times of extreme stress.

Focus on your health and well being, first.

Be interested in others more rather than having to be interesting if you didn't stammer.

I'm saying this because people will reveal problems that make yours look like nothing at all and they will thank you for being there for them.

A few years ago, I saw a new gadget that was tested on people who stuttered.
The device fits in your ear. Every time you speak, it buzzes in your ear so that you cannot HEAR yourself speak. Everyone of the people tested stopped while using this device. It MIGHT be available. It would be worthwhile to do some homework and see if you can find one someplace??

Good Luck

People who stammer don't stammer when they sing. When you get ready to speak, come as close to singing as possible.
