Take it from me I have tried everything and when I say everything I mean everything South Beach, Atkins, the fruit diet and every other fad diet you can think of I have tried.

The problem with all of them is at first you are full steam ahead and then you get bored of eating the same stuff or you just don't lose weight at all and get frustrated. The end result off all those fad diets is the same you quit them within four months tops..

Look at it like this; let's take your monthly bills for example what if when your bills came in you put one in the kitchen one in the living room one in the bedroom etc so they were spread out all over the house- you don't write them down anywhere and basically you are completely unorganized with them, well after five months of doing this you would have no idea where you stood financially and you would probably be overwhelmed and discouraged.

Now picture taking all those bills making a spread sheet and balancing everything out - you would be able to see the big picture and it would not seem so intimidating.

Losing weight and dieting is exactly the same thing. You have no idea where you stand calorie wise, what you should be eating and everyone is throwing fad diets into the mix to confuse you more and frustrate you more

wellln you also have to diet....i have no clue how many calories u will burn doing that...but..i am also trying to lose 20 pounds in 2 months. im going for 10 pounds each month...and im trying to burn 700 calories a day while eating 1400 calories. 1400 is about how much i should be consuming...to figure out how much u need to consume, take ur height, 5 feet should be 100. and inches after that..multiply that by 5 then add that to 100 for example, im 5'8 so thats 100, then 8 x 5 would be 40 so thats 140 now. then u multiply by 10, 140 x 10 is 1400. try doing urs. and calculate how many calories ur burning..and cut out all junk food..drink 8-10 glasses of water a day. eat 6 small meals....do cardio for 5-6 days a week. do weight training or strength training every other day to build muslce for 10-20 minutes...and you should be on your way to losing 20 pounds in 2 months, losing 10 each month. oh yeah also..when u find out how many calories u need to consume...you will need a 300 calorie deficit. like i need to consume 1400...and the deficit for me 300 if i burn 700. cuz the bmr would be 1000. then i burn 400 and then 300 more calories and fat that was stored in my body. s
i hope i wasnt confusing....

good luck!

Oh yea Ryan no problem dude. Of course along with swimming which is great you need to do some working out to get you sweating because if 20lbs is your goal then it will be mostly water you'll have to get rid of. We all retain water some people a lot more then other that's why jogging, sauna, sparring (that's what I do) are all good ways.. If your into sparring that's a great way to sweat out water and it also helps with coordination. Which ever way you decide is best for you just take it as slow or as fast as you can handle and don't over do it. Good Luck Dude!!.

That really depends on your diet and what you eat. You can do as much exercise as you want throughout the day, but if your eating habits are bad, then little luck, bud.

Six small meals are prefered throughout the day instead of eating 3 big one's.

Swimming is one of the BEST ways to burn calories along with jogging.

However, losing 20lbs in 2 months is not healthy. But to answer your question....you "CAN" lose 20lbs by completely shortening your diet (which is not recommended by many dietitions and nutritionists).

Swimming is an excellent way to burn calories and lose weight. As long as you keep a good diet and drink lots of water, you might be able to lose it. I say just incase, try for 3 months. And don't overwork yourself! Good luck!

First you have to get a good diet. Then you have to work out, cardio, which is good for everyone's heart, and muscle building for muscle, which helps burn calories. But I doubt you could lose it that fast.
You could starve, but thats dangerous. Also to lose one pound, you have to deplete 3500 of your calories from you overall diet. you can't do that in one day.
Swimming is good, but there are many factors for losing weight.

i think u can do what ever u think u can do and swimming is great but u also have to eat right and do more exercise than swimming like walking or jogging or even working around the house. U can do anything you want to do when u try hard.
