Is it weird?? Advice Please..?

Four Questions: (1) Is it weird to want to be with someone you have never actually met? I really, really have affectionate feelings for a man that I have never had the opportunity to meet in person with. I saw him one day, and I was awestruck. (2) Anyone believe in love at first sight? Am I crazy? I don't stalk him and look at his Myspace everyday or anything freakish like that but, but I will look every now and then and I think about him constantly. I want to meet him soon and try to develop a friendship out of it, but I haven't spoken with him other than a brief email conversation. I am sure he does not even remember it since it was so brief. (3) How can I initiate a meeting without seeming weird or too forward? (4) Does anyone think I should just try to shake the feelings or should I follow my heart? I would appreciate appropriate and honest adult responses.

You hit the nail on the head with your "friendship" statement. Take it slow (say "hello" when you pass, etc.) then step things up gradually, if he's interested he'll reciprocate.

no, i don't think it's wierd that you are fantasizing about this guy, but i think it's a fantasy. a little reality and a lot of time imagining more. you need to make a move before you really place expectations on him or yourself. email him and ask him to meet you for a drink. be casual. it's important that you realize that what you feel for him isn't based on anything real yet. if you go into this with those expectations, it's almost a certainty that it won't go well. you are intrigued-- maybe once you get to know him better it will be everything you've hoped. maybe not. but you won't know until you ask.

Just wait for some more time.You may grow out of it or meet some one errr say ...even better than him or in one in a billion chance,may even meet me.
