He's in the military. He was gone for a month last summer and I was so depressed.

I literally kept my phone on me at all times incase he called, I sent him letters and packages several times a week, I counted down the days until he'd be coming back, thought about him 24/7, constantly talked about missing him to friends and family, etc.

It's nothing like that this time. Sure I miss him and I get happy when he calls or emails me, but I'm not miserable or depressed like last summer.

Does that mean I'm not in love with him anymore?

No it just means youve grown up a bit and your more use to him being gone

I don't think so! You probably still love him, just that you are content with the situation. You can. and should live a normal life with him apart. Now if you were not happy when he contacts you, then you'd probably should think it about more.

Maybe you have just adjusted to the situation. Only you know how your heart feels about him.
