movies are too large for cd's. you need a dvd. if its gonna be played from another computer, you just need to get any burning program and make a data disc.

otherwise its a bit more difficult.

This type of method is called DIVX or Xvid (open source)

You can use a number of programs out there that will do that for you. You will compress the file down to a 700mb size and will burn it onto a CD-R. the quality sis pretty damn good too!

You will sacrifice the extra features as you will need all the room you can get to fit the movie onto a single CD-R.

movie can be converted to vcd format. then u can copy them to a cd. converting the movie to the vcd format, u can get 4 movies on a dvd.

if you want to burn movies into vcd format, either buy a software that will permit this or go to soft32.com and look at video converters and editors

you can only burn them into dvd's and you can save them into windows media or another copying program and you burn them onto a dvd.
