Iowa's population is about 3 million, the illegal alien population is 12-20 million

Are you outraged that the equivelant of 5 states barged in here, and is demanding that they write our laws so that they can bring in more than double what they already have

Yea, I'm very outraged and so should everyone that loves the USA. These people are destroying everything we have worked for all our life's. They will break America and look at what our elected officials are doing about it. Nothing, passing the buck. I think its time to take things in our own hands.

I agree with 75% of what the teacher suzy wrote, but its not Mexican culture she's describing. I was told Mexico's culture is a respectful one, based on tradition, and would be appalled and ashamed of the amount of single mothers found in America. I think the problem is that some Hispanic communites create a new culture combining American, and Mexican. Instead of picking the best of the two, some pick what they can get the most from of the two cultures. Many males pick Machismo from their home culture and our objectification of females from America, and create a far more sexist culture. I've heard of how Mexican fathers are ashamed on how their sons treat females , once exposed to American culture. THe ones who seem to exhibit the worse behavior, are those who rarely experience people of outside their community. I visit the fringe of the Hispanic community and they all treated me well. Perhaps, it might be a good reason to advocate busing. As for the population of Iowa, there is 3 million in the city of LA alone, and 10 million in our metropolitan area. I do see some problems caused by them coming here in large numbers though.

I agree with you Slew about Suzy M's comment. I agree with most of her comments but not all. People need to stop stereotyping. My parents immigrated here legally over thirty years ago and taught my sisters and I to respect people. I don't drink, I don't do drugs and I don't smoke because my father taught me that women don't do that. At 27, I still have not seen my mother puff on a cigarette or sip a drop of alcohol. I was taught that education is very important. My parents paid our of their pocket to put me and both my sisters through college. I was never allowed to wear any gang colors or dress in any way like a gang member. Yes, there is a new breed of Mexican-Americans emerging. They are losing control of their children because they are too busy getting exploited at work to know what their kids are up to. I believe it's in the best interest of all the US citizens to keep these people out.

I live in New Mexico, so I feel your outrage, and I too am outraged about it. I'm starting to get outraged at the politicians that are trying to force amnesty for these criminals down our throats!

Yes, I'm outraged.
It is terrible.
Iowa is not alone.
An illegal alien has been arrested in Wisconsin for stealing an identity and becoming a cop. Wonder how many of his buddies he arrested?
Real ironic considering that a few weeks ago an illegal killed a Wisconsin cop.

that does not out number all of Americans. remember, we might live in different states, but do you think an Alabamian or a Georgian is going to set back and let illegals attack people in Iowa? no we wont, we got your back my American bro.

I wonder if we can still take things into our own hands. I used to have a lot of faith in government, but when they stop listening to the people, they are forgetting about what the government was created for: to represent the people.

...but if we kick out all the Mexicans, who's gonna cook my cheeseburger when I go to Carl's Jr.?

Just say, "NO" to ILLEGAL ALIENS. They just did a raid at the Del Monte plant in my town and rounded up about 85% of the entire work force for deportation ... IT'S ABOUT DAMN TIME!

NO NO PUEDE!! I think the only people who would have any reason to give me a "THUMBS DOWN" would be ILLEGALS, so it's very encouraging.
