A honeymoon isn't about money or a fabulous vacation..... those things are nice but your honeymoon should be about each other and celebrating your new life together as one. As long as you and your hubby are together it shouldn't matter..... You will get some money from your wedding I'm sure, you could spend some money and go to a close by beach for the weekend or you could spend $10 on a picnic basket packet with sandwiches. you and your hubby walk into a park or in the woods and have a nice romantic picnic just the two of you.... watch the sun set together then relax under the stars..... you could even pack some strawberries and whipped cream in that picnic basket........ moral of the story..... as long as your together, holding and loving each other it doesn't matter where you spend your time!!
Congrats and good luck

You could go on a camping trip.

I used to consider myself to be fairly classy and would never consider sleeping outside until I met my boyfriend who's a real outdoors person. Now I enjoy camping, fishing, etc. It's a lot of fun if you're capable of just letting go and relaxing. You'll experience fewer distractions and really be able to enjoy the person you're spending time with. I suggest picking a campground by a river instead of a lake. The water is clearer. Pick some place interesting with alot of history, like the Smoky Mountains or some place and you can have alot of fun on a tight budget.

If you are near the mountains in any part of the U.S. all of the cabins are out-of-season, so they are cheap cheap cheap, many include hot tubes and a secluded view. I have seen some 3 bedroom cabins that are $125 for the weekend. You would have to bring your own food, but it is better than paying to go out. There is hiking, canoe trips, sightseeing. It could be pretty romantic and you wouldn't have to go into deep debt. Good luck to you, as long as you are with him you could honeymoon in your backyard if you wanted;)

Well congrats for saturday, and for your question a friend went on a cruise not to long ago and he told me that at tghe dock there is always a chance to find very cheap tickets for certain cabins, cruiselines like to get full so if you get lucky you might find a good deal on a 3-4-5 day trip who knows. Good luck. Hope everything goes well.

At the very least get a hotel room the night of the wedding close to where you are getting married and relax that is why my hubby and I did, we didn't even reserve it we used the money from our dollar dance and paid cash when we got there it was a lot of fun.

If you live near a major airport you could check online about the airlines last minute flights for the weekend.

Yeah, call it off and save the money for the reception, get the money back for the ring and you both use the money for a three week cruise. If you can still stand each other after three weeks solid, when you return find a justice of the peace for a hundred bucks, then get married.

try a state park. In my state there are plenty of them with chalet type cabins with a fireplace, log cabins, and motel accomodations. You can hike and enjoy the forest and creeks, and see deer.
