The Earth will go on being the Earth. We humans are like a few fleas on a dogs back. The Earth will scratch when we make it and it maybe scratching a little now. It had a rough time when the moon was a lot closer and 1000 foot tides crashed over the land masses, giant meteorites bombarded the planet and volcanoes and shifting continents were moving about and still do. Glaciers and frozen oceans made for a cool season, but the Earth keeps on doing what it wants to.....exist. It's us the people that need to worry about saving ourselves from each other. Disease, wars and greed will be our undoing.......save the Earth...the Earth is doing fine... save the people....good luck!!

By stopping people from reproducing so much. Have 1 or 2 kids not 5 or 7. We can do all the recycling, drive hybrids, use new lightbulbs, but the ultimate solution is for humanity to stop growing. In every city you see the destruction that has to happen to build more houses, more roads, more cars. If there is no demand to destroy the environment then we won't.

How would I like to save this planet? It's not mine to save. I would recommend you speak to the rightful owner of this world, He has it all in control, it may not seem that way to you, but then you probably have not read the end of the book, It is real clear, he will destroy this planet with fire, to "cleanse it" then the new world will come. One we will enjoy and appreciate.

How about if we skip the Miss America speech about world peace and do something about AID. There are countries in Africa that have a 25% infection rate and that includes newborns. Maybe we should pass just today on individually ending all war and skip the pumpkin spice, tripple latte without pickles and send that three bucks to somewhere where it might remove just a bit of misery.

"5% of the global military budget would give everyone on this planet clean water, food, shelter, medicine, education, and at least a basic standard of living"
It would not be hard to make it work. Global warming is our biggest short term threat. To save the planet, and avoid catastrophic refugee movements, we need to jump onto renewables, control our population size before it controls itself, and get rid of our useless military budget.

I only do my little part, like recycling and I also volunteer at a wildlife shelter where we take in injured and orphaned animals. And before I retired, I gave over 80 pints of blood, so I surely hope I helped somebody that can continue to help our planet.

I would encourage and bring all the other animals forward to fight against humans
(I know it sounds weird but I find this the best way to save our planet)

I would like to see renewable energy used as the means of electricity generation for our cities and towns. Also reduced your footprint.

Look here for some great tips and heaps of info on renewable energy.. Silly thing is that these energies are almost free and in some cases cheaper to produce than that of Coal and Gas isnt it strange that our govts dont support them..

Inexpensively, and with ample good data to be sure it was saving the earth, and not just changing one problem for another, possibly worse, one.
