Im confused on this. Shouldn't the person to rise up against God be satan? And if humans have free will why would a human become the anti-christ? And if God knows everything why allow that human to be born? It makes not sense to me.

Read the 13th Chapter of Revelation.
Antichrist will arise because he is what the people want.
Did you forget that when Jesus stood before Pontius Pilate and he sought to release Him that they cried out "Not this man, but give us Barabbas!"
People are the same today.

The term 'antichrist' is used in the letters of John in the plural to refer to individuals who were 'opposed to Christ'. You probably have in mind the figure of the Beast in the Book of Revelation. The reference there is to Caesar Nero, the first Roman Emperor to sponsor persecution of Christians, thereby setting a terrible precedent. That is what the number of emperors in Revelation 17, as well as the number of the beast in chapter 13, all point to. Take a look at any scholarly commentary on the Book of Revelation and it will provide information about this.

Good question. Can't say why, but it's in the Bible, so it's going to happen. I think Satan wants to be like God and have a son too, so he has the anti-Christ. The anti-Christ, is devil and man, like Jesus is God and man. Can you dig it?

I don't mean to insult you, but God has had a plan before the foundation of the earth was set in place, so what we think "doesn't make sense" doesn't really figure into anything.

And the antichrist will, at one point in time, be indwelt by satan. He will promise world peace, but then stand and demand to be worshipped as God.

Makes NO sense. YOU are so right. There is NO anti christ. For that matter, there is NO SATAN. It is all part of the "religious" mumbo jumbo to keep the average church going loser in line. It's called "the fear factor"! Which is the basis for all "religion"!

You need to read your Bible, at one time Satan was one of God's angel in heaven until he tried to take over then he was cast out of heaven to earth. Satan can make himself in form that he wishes that is why man should be careful about who they associate with, and yes man does have free will.
