I would propose two MAJOR changes and one minor change...

1.) No restrictor plates.... let these guys spread out at the superspeedways. Lap traffic would still make it very interesting. If a driver has the balls to go 215 mph at Daytona, so be it. They are making millions each year, if it is "too dangerous" there is no shortage of people who would love to take their place.

2.) Race in the rain.... Put wipers on every car, or leave the decision up to each team before each race. When it starts to rain, the teams can decide when to pit and put on tires with tread/rain channels. Indy car does it, why can't these guys.

3.) Race back to the start line on all cautions! This used to be the rule and it still should be. For Pete's sake it is a RACE, and not a time trial! IF you race back to the line, then nobody has a right to complain about when the caution was thrown.

Hey JeremyM backwards races are kinda cool just for a change, that would throw everyone a curve, especially when they don't know in advance which way they're going to go. Saw backward races at a local track years ago. NASCAR would love it,lol. I'd prefer to limit owners to fewer teams, say 2 max. That would keep costs down for the little guy 'cause there'd be no mega teams. Restrictor plates belong in a museum !

I don't exactly have an answer to my own request, but I wish they could do something about the rain delays, maybe add lights to all tracks in the event they can run later in the day?

And I would like to see them get rid of past champion provisionals, let them race their way in. And give more points to the winner and instead of giving points for leading one lap they should give points if they've led 20 laps in a row, this would stop all the teamates giving the lead to their buddies, to me that's cheating.

Sorry that's more than one, but NASCAR needs a complete overhaul!

The amount of practice time each car gets during the one and only session before qualifying. I would do whatever it takes to insure that every team got the same amount of time or opportunity to work on their car and setup before that attempt to qualify. Also (I know you said one) I would bunch all cars that aren't locked into the race together to make the conditions as similar as possible for alll the smaller or new teams.

I'd keep the Car of Tomorrow outta Nascar...it sucks and none of the Drivers like it at all.....even listen to what kyle busch said about it after he won the first race w/ them.....those car's are wats gonna ruin this sport

Points system and take out the chase
more roadcourses
more drivers
less teams meaning more free agents
actual competitive women drivers
longer season (i go into withdrawal during the off season)
me getting to see more races in person (i'm limited to 2 a year :*[)
politer fans lol like that will happen

oh and i know it was supposed to be one thing but all of those were a tie in my mind

Each track only has one race per year. Giving other tracks around the country a fair shot at getting a race.

So it's like hey Scoob,
I personally can't stand the commentary. Sports in general, the commentators just keep yaking on and on. It's good to get information from experts but put a sock in it for a few minutes and let people think for themselves. If people had to read the screen and the was little to no commentary they would learn more I think. Hockey is terrible with the announcing, constantly in your face with a routine save or shot. I say give the guys a couple chill pills and relax and enjoy it. You wouldn't put up with someone talking your ear off if you were actually at the event, you'd tell them to shut the hell up, I'm trying to pay attention jackass. Thanks for your opinion but I got my own thanks!
Commentary, needs to change! That's my vote Scooby.

I'd change the main sponsor back to Winston and get rid of Nextel.

It hasn't been the same since the switch.
