I'm not talking about the press conference, I'm talking about the 1 on 1 interview. I'm a Gordon fan since day one, but have always liked Jr. After seeing the interview, I have a lot more respect for the man. If you did see the interview, what are your thoughts on it?

I seemed like he really wants to take racing serious and prove to himself that he can be a champion. Not just a son of a champion. I liked his reason for not driving the #3 car I think it showed respect to his father.

I just seen it and I agree with you. Sounds like he's trying to say that he's done showboating and ready to win races now. He sounds like a true champion. He will get 2 championships before his contract is up with HMS. Of course Jeff will get 2 and Jimmy 1.
