There will be immigration form but our border security will be greatly enhanced.

We do need something. The last, failed plan, was not Bush's plan but the Democrats. Maybe Bush will push Bill O'Riley plan. No amnesty, safe borders, big fines for employers and a case by case look to see who might become a citizen. Peace

And the difference between the two is that "amnesty" is just one word, and "comprehensive reform that lead to their eventual acquistion of legal status" is basically jibberish for the word "amnesty".

We shouldn't be rewarding criminal behavior. We need to uphold our laws, and stop backing down to those that constantly disrespect our laws and our nation by illegally coming into and staying in this country.

Deport all illegals!

There will be more letters of protest, petitions, faxes, phone calls and emails. Maybe they will become uncooth under stress and fights will break out. If nothing else it would be a news item, worth watching!

Unfortunately for the millions of Americans who are law abidding tax paying citizens, I believe the congress will pass the laws making the illegals citizens.

Then, in another 15 years there will be 30 million illegal Mexicans here........That is exactly what happened when Reagan granted "amnesty" to the illegals in the 80's. It simply opened the flood gates!

Illegal invaders, you mean. I'm against slavery. The revolution is in it's early stages. Thank multinational corporations for destroying America, it allows your folks to have a short term better life at the expense of the true American dream. What will illegals do when ALL of North America's workers have been reduced to poverty? what will they aspire to? to go home? it will be a 3rd world everywhere...

I hate what has happened to my country, people like you are distracting from finding a solution, to restoring true freedom.
This is the true definition of FASCISM, look it up

Of course its amnesty but Bush has fooled so many people so many times, I wouldn't put it past him if he fools us again!...all he's gotta do is turn on some of that down-home-charm.

Nope, now say it with me:

AMNESTY IS EQUAL TO COMPREHENSIVE REFORM

But that was a nice trick. You assume too much.
