Exfoliate refers to the sloughing off of dead skin cells. Since acne occurs when sebum (skin oil) and dead skin cells clog pores, it CAN help but keep in mind if the product you're using is too harsh it can make your skin produce more oil and bring about more acne so use something gentle or formulated for acne prone skin.

A lot of times exfoliators often called 'scrubs' have some type of abrasive agent like ground up peach stones. Thats what helps to scrape off the dead layer of skin. If you have acne be careful, these kind can be really irritating. Use liquid or gel exfoliators with salycic acid.

It is removing dead skin cells using scrub. Yes it really helps removing blackheads and can help with the treating of acne as long as it is gentle and the exfoliating beads are small. Big ones are too harsh on the face.

Exfoliation means rubbing your skin with scrub or something like that which increases the blood circulation.

It helps acne the same amount as aerobic exercises.
