Inching....inching...oooh, that's cold....inching.....sheesh....brrrr....!

Yep, that's me, down to the icy little toes.

If you inch in slow enough, maybe the sun will be out long enough to warm up the water, otherwise there is no point.

Same too with life?
Of course. When I want to get to a place 50km from here, I don't inch my way across on foot, I take a car and drive across.

Trust me, your life will be much more productive.

But be warned, jumping into situations in life is different to jumping into a pool. When you jump into a pool, you can always climb out. Not so with life.

I would jump because it gets you used to the water faster then inching. Besides, who doesn't jump into a pool.

I would prefer to get it over with and jump in... I treat different situations in life in different ways.. I usually think things through before jumping into them, so this doesn't really apply =]

Stick my toe in so I know what to expect and then jump in.

I stuck my foot in and splashed a bit, not ready to jump. I'll be sitting at the side of the pool a bit longer.

I prefer to just jump!! No, I would not say that I approach many aspects of my life in this manner at all. Those which I am passionate about...yes! Others...like business affairs...no way! I proceed with caution in serious matters!

jump in and get it over with. once you're in, it stops being cold after about 2 seconds.

and no, in life, i think and take my time to make sure i'm doing the right thing. or the rational thing. like jumping in the water instead of inching in. it's more rational since the cold is over with quicker :)
