You have no idea what proportion of the population I hate.

But even if the number you say is reliable, that means at the very most athiests are only 5% of the population. If even all of us hated people with different beliefs, the world would be made up of only 5% hate mongering athiests.

Would you be willing to concede that at least 10% of those that believe in a creator hate people who believe differently. If so, those religious hatemongers make up 9.5% of the planet, nearly doubling the number of athiest haters.

You don't have to believe me though. Everyone knows that 79% of all statistics are made up on the spot.

Unless I'm very much mistaken, that link was about the decline of atheism in the Third World and the growth of atheism in the First World. I didn't see anything about atheists hating anyone. Can you point me to it? Or are you just a troll?

I am shure that the little religious bubble that entraps you from the real world has leaked some sort of twisted information into the whomb of your ignorance. So let me enlighten you. To say that 95% of atheists hate theistic persons is so off the mark that it is just plain moronic. You could not present any facts about this claim you are making if you wanted to. I guess if your pastor or priest or your favorite t.v. dogma pusher told you this about the hate that atheists have toward religious people and you buy this load of garbage, than it wouldent surprise me at all. Since you accept things that are not able to be shown thrue fact or theory, you invoke faith to tell you what you should ascribe to as far as ultimate truth. These closed minded, dogmaticaly controlled, thought blockers that theistic persons eat up like a free lunch, only serve to cause a new form of hate mongering and bigitory thrue misunderstanding and religious bias toward unbelievers. I have to say that I myself as an atheist ( who also has many like minded very educated people that share my same moral and humain understanding of the earth and it's people) would never hate a person becouse of his religious conviction or "faith". What we do when confronted with theistic persons is to let them know that their belief system needs to have a closer personal look, without critising them for the engrained meems that they have been subjected to since birth or after some life altering circumstance that made them look outside themselves for help. I think as a religious person you should listen to the message that you'r god has given to you as far as human charity is concerned and abandon your self expressed haterd of people of diffenent belief systems. You, may I remind you, are an atheist also when it comes to any belief system that is contrary to you'r own. In closing my answer to this absurd question with it's thinly veild assult on people of different world views is : Get out to your library and get some real information, If you are truly commited to the teachings of your god then you will have no problem in digging up the facts. I think it says some place in the christian bible that you are to dilligently seek god in all matters. God is to a christian, omniscient. He knows your heart and if you are going to follow in the steps of your "faith" then you are going to have to remove the cynical and hatefull thought patterns you are showing that you are having trouble with. At this point I have to conclude that your point of atheists being hatefull to christians is uninformed and is showing your lack of investigation. Have a great day and remember that even though your god to me is a fairy tale, I can have an active responce to you without telling you that i hate you or disrespect you in the least. If you are becoming a better person by being a theist I applaude you. If you are becoming a closed minded religious zelot than I suggest you look inside yourself and find the natural moral condition that is inhearant in all people except the mentaly impared.

People who make up statistics and then use them as proof to back up their opinions are 100% ignorant.

Hitler was a Christian. Man, was he a nice guy!

Abe Lincoln was an Atheist, and he set into motion the end of slavery. My favorite anti-religious qoute from him goes as follows: "The Bible is not my book nor Christianity my profession. I could never give assent to the long, complicated statements of Christian dogma."

You want to have an imaginary friend, that's fine by me. But don't throw mud at those who don't.

You'd never see a Buddhist post a question like this one. Even as an Atheist, I respect Buddhists and think Christians should look to them for how to be loving and kind.

Your source on this is....... 95% of the world isn't even Christian. Sheesh. China is mostly freaking pagan and they take up a pretty good amount of the population. Indians too.

I am an atheist, and I do not hate anyone. I guess this makes you to be the person who is more arrogant and prejudiced.

I have had lots of atheist friends and lots of religious ones, and none of them has been significantly arrogant or prejudiced. I don't think that belief or unbelief has much bearing on those traits.

who said we hated those people?

i certainly don't i merely disagree with them.

and which creator are you talking about. because 95% of the world does not believe the same religion, and hence they believe in different creators.
