both puppies are 6 months old the female dont bark and the male does, why?

They are different dogs! They will not behave the same way any more than human siblings will necessarily behave the same.

Some dogs just aren't big on barking. My Italian Greyhound rarely barks as does my Chihuahua now. The chihuahua barked a lot when I first got him. He now doesn't do it as much.

I dislike yappy dogs so the fact that mine rarely vocalize is great for me.

I'm no vet. But have lotz of pets. She might just be content in your home. I've had a dog that never shut up.But her mother is so calm you wouldn't know she was in the room.Not a good watch dog.But nothing was wrong with her. Still check with your vet just to be on the safe side.

the female is the alpha, or more dominant of the two, so she does not need to bark to assert her position. contrary to popular belief, the alpha of a group is 95% of the time the female, alpha male is a false term.

unless your dog gets lethargic, you're fine. if so, take to the vet.

I'm agree with older reply that you are so lucky. if they both barking, imaging how it was - -'?. Each dogs have their own behavior.

They have different personalaties.
be thankful you don't have two little yappers.
Some are yappers and sone aren't
