First, eat two crackers, then take two Advil or Aleve and one Benadryl. Then make a pot of hot tea with lemon and enough honey to make it pretty sweet. Run a not too hot bath and get in, getting your hair wet. Not a shower. A bath. Drink one cup of tea in the bathtub. Put on comfy pajamas that cover your arms. When you get out, drink more tea and eat two pieces of cinnamon toast, enough cinnamon to make your nose run. Take one little dose-cup of Nyquil. Get into bed. Fix your pillows just right. Put a wrapped-up ice pack on your forehead and two others on either side of your neck below your ears and under your jaw. Baby yourself for two days and eat chicken noodle soup and more tea and cinnamon toast.

Pretend this is your mother talking. I raised three kids and one husband on this cure and it works.

Hey Blondie, sorry you feel so terrible. Hey listen, I just been through a One year, three month nightmare where I fell from a ladder and practically killed my self. After months of therapy, operations, I'm now getting on my feet. Ive been thru hell and am actually still there, however I'm writing to you with a smile because I know one day I will shine again. If I can do It, you can. Putter up, check out a web site called streetfire.net watch some cool races, how about Wedding Crashers, I know you'll love that. You'll be OK. Luck to ya, Steve.

Drink lots of fluids, mostly water. Get some sports drinks. If you have a fever, you may want to see a doctor. It's a sign of an infection. Get some cough drops. You should probably go to bed and stay there. If your runny nose is clear and stays that way, it's just allergies and you should go to the doctor to get prescribed something for that. If it turns green or yellow, it's a cold and you also should go to the doctor. Hope you feel better.

i am not a doctor but this is what i would do. tell yourself you're feeling better. get up and go about your day like you normally would. if you say you feel bad you only make yourself feel worse. and you shouldn't lay in bed all day if you get up and keep your lymph moving the infection will come out quicker. If you lay around it moves slower than if you're up, making your cold last longer. but you're not supposed to exercise and over do it either. so just try not to make yourself too tired. If your cough is keeping you from sleeping look for an over the counter cough syrup to take before bed. the pharmacy can assist you if you're unsure of what to take.

Drink as much tea and water as you can to flush the bug you have. Hot mint tea is what my grandmother use to give me.
Pure spearmint leaves in hot water. I coughed all kinds of gross phleghm up. You can try Bigelow mint medly if you can't find dried mint leaves.
Do not have dairy when you're sick. Orange juice also has vitamins you need at this time.
FEEL BETTER:)

Sleep! Take some throat spray and keep the tissues near by. Rent a good movie and curl up under some blankets.

Cold medicines do not work, they are designed to not work, so that drug companies can milk more and more money from consumers. You should eat lots of healthy foods, hot foods like onions, chilli and garlic (garlic is especially good) in your everyday diet can help combat getting sick, theres not really much you can do about a cold once you have it except try to make yourself comfortable, have a nice hot bath and inhale the steam.

It sounds like you suffer from allergies. Try taking an antihistamine such as Benadryl. If allergies are the culprit you should begin to feel some relief in a very short time, perhaps even minutes.

Get some honey for your throat and some Tylenol Sinus. You'll feel 100% better in the morning.

Sorry to hear that . . .it sucks being sick.
Use nasal spray to help relieve the congestion. Try HydraSense it is saline solution and you can use often.
Use Puffs Kleenex when blowing your nose, they are gentle to your nose so you don't look like a clown. I have learned this from experience :o(
Try and rest if you can.
I hope you feel better soon. . .It is so crappy being sick, especially during the summer.
