Our leader is Jesus Christ, duh! Anyways, there's a good possibility that those two things will be gone eventually thanks to the ACLU, which was founded by Roger Baldwin to advance communism around the world, by the way. Without God to determine right from wrong for us, only might makes right.

While we're on the topic, the Puritans started education in order that the kids could learn the Word of God, the Bible, so that they would not be snared and destroyed by the lies of the enemy. One of those lies is that they are worthless animals. Today, they have begun to live like animals. They cohabitate rather than marry, are more violent than they used to be, use drugs and abuse alcohol, mate with people that they barely know and switch partners just like many animals do, and then their lives fall apart because they didn't follow God's rules, the Ten Commandments. When they have problems, they usually assume that it's God's fault, which is ridiculous, but that's what they do. The really sad thing is, that the most innocent ones, the children, often suffer the most.

Karl Marx, Adolf Hitler, and Joseph Stalin were each devoted believers in evolution. The slaughtering of other inferior peoples is consistent with the doctrine of survival of the fittest. It is not consistent with the New Testament in any way, shape, or form. A good Christian always interprets the Old Testament in light of the New Testament.

What we're proud of is the fact that we are a nation of free-thinkers and a superpower in this world. We are proud that we reflect God in our Pledge of Allegiance because we strive to be a moral country. Above all, we are proud that we are more than our history!

i don't be attentive to if i'm on my own in this one, yet isn't faith meant to be a private, own element? God, Gods, Goddess, Flying Spaghetti Monster, this is all no bearing over funds. If i develop into Muslim (as an occasion) i might probable choose my funds to declare 'In Allah We believe', and can refuse any funds that made the relationship with the Christian God. I doubt there are any Muslim human beings like this, yet in any case. the money belongs to the persons of the rustic, no longer any specific faith. consequently, i in my view might like there develop into no such reference. maybe something bearing directly to the president quite In Bush we... ok, maybe no longer ((((hugs)))) Loving and non violent in Nature

For your information, IN GOD WE TRUST was added to American coinage during the Civil War. It appeared on the dollar note in 1957.

Incidentally, I think that Senator Joe McCarthy was a great American. Apparently you know as little about recent history as you do about numismatics.

The decision to put "God" on US currency occurred after the Civil War.

As a result, Secretary Chase instructed James Pollock, Director of the Mint at Philadelphia, to prepare a motto, in a letter dated November 20, 1861:

Dear Sir: No nation can be strong except in the strength of God, or safe except in His defense. The trust of our people in God should be declared on our national coins.

You will cause a device to be prepared without unnecessary delay with a motto expressing in the fewest and tersest words possible this national recognition.

It was found that the Act of Congress dated January 18, 1837, prescribed the mottoes and devices that should be placed upon the coins of the United States.

I would like to know how we change it back.

I see people here all the time claiming our country is based on Christianity, and use it as an example. Most don't even know that it was changed in the middle 20th century.

To prove that America is not communist. It wasn't really Joseph McCarthy, it was the Knights of Columbus, a radical Christian group of that time. They were able to slide it through because of McCarthy's bigotry though.
