Ultimately its about being you. Others may not understand how you make something work but if it works for you then why not.
Sometimes things do conflict but that's how life is. Finding your path is finding what makes the most sense to you and has the most meaning for you.

Let me give you a simple example a denomination believes that you can be sprinkled poured over or dunked to be baptized. You however believe that you need to be dunked. Its not a problem for you to hold to that belief.

The question becomes is the amount of common ground between the two sufficient to allow you to have a basic core belief system that makes sense? Or would you be feeling like someone with a split personality disorder?
All depends on what you are mixing...

It can be done. People simply follow some beliefs of one religion and some of another. Depending on the religions it can be simple or difficult. For example Roman Catholicism and Wicca don't mix well.

never thought of that before it is a good question, I guess it could be done, and yes it would most likely have conflict problems. It would be like a woman and a man married together and each have their own beliefs, and going to their own churches, gee what a mess that would be huh? he would believe one way and she would the other way, there would really never be no peace there..

I do not worship religions. But many people pick and choose out of different religions what they like and don't like- what they think is right and what they think is wrong. People rarely embrace everything in a religion.

A relationship... that is a different story. That is what I have a relationship with Christ- not a religion

Sure, but it would be hard to find two different religious that don't contradict each other. Maybe a more pragmatic religion mixed with a metaphysical one could work.

sure. why do think there so many pantheons of gods (and godesses and fairies, etc...) in many ancient cultures: Such as Norse, Indian, Chinese, Greek, etc... Worship one in the morning, the other at night, then there won't ever be any conflicts.
