Do you plan to sin? Do you brag about sinning? Do you pay money to sin? How do you think God sees sin? God will be our judge.

Paul had a lot to say about this in Romans. He said, "should we continue to sin so that God's grace will be more abundant too?" Then he answered his own question with a big "No!"

The bottom line is that once a person accepts Christ as Savior, they should, out of gratefulness to God and out of love for Him, try their best to please and obey God, and to me as much like Jesus as they can. That's what God wants, too. He always planned for those who accept Him to become more and more like His Son (Jesus).

In 1 John 1: 9, John says that IF we do sin, all is not lost - Jesus will take up for us and God will forgive us if we confess and repent of the sin. But if we use that as license to keep sinning, we don't really love or fear God as we should.

You repent when you sin and you try to live a life that is pleasing to God. To think that you could repent and then go out purposely or knowingly sin is in itself a sin and DOES NOT make you a Christian. You will sin as a Christian, but not with intent. God knows your true heart. You will stop sinning only when you go to be with God.

A few scriptures I can think of to answer your questions: Jude 3--"put up a hard fight for the faith." Faith is like a pile of sand out of doors: it will eventually wear away (wind, rain), unless you keep working on it. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11--after saying unrighteous persons will not inherit God's kingdom, Paul lists some of the types he's referring to; then says "that is what some of you WERE." Which shows a change in needed in order to please God; we CANNOT keep doing as we want.
No one plans to sin, for the most part, or brags about it. People who believe in sin usually do their best to avoid intentionally doing it, because they know the consequences: Romans 5:12--sin entered into the world through one man and DEATH along with it, so we're all dying because we're all imperfect. Romans 6:12-14--"Do not let sin continue to rule as king in your mortal bodies. . . .For sin must not be master over you." So, while we cannot get rid of our imperfect state now, we can work to see that it does not become our master.
So yes, you can live as you wish because we are all free moral agents, BUT, not if you want to please God and have the hope of everlasting life.
God does not enjoy, or want, sin among humans, which is why he made the provision of the ransom sacrifice, which all are free to benefit from--if they want to and they make the effort to do so.
Yes, God is our judge, but not a harse, vindictive, by-the-book judge. Deuteronomy 32:4--"all his ways are justice, a God of faithfulness, . . righteous and upright is he." His judgments are always tempered by mercy--Psalm 116:5.
Is that enough? Does it answer your questions satisfactorily?

If you really love God, then you won't want to sin because it hurts Him. So if you really believe in Jesus Christ, then you would naturally just keep repenting when you sinned. You would also ask God to help you change. And I would think that you wouldn't want to be at odds with the Creator of the universe. It's not at all safe.

You ask God to change you and repent of your sins. When you repent you are not suppose to do it again and work at not doing it again. No you are to live according to scripture not any old way you feel like it.

God sees all sin as evil. Why would you want to bragg about sinning or plan it? That is Satans device. Don't fall for it.

1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

We should repent when we have turned and the Holy Spirit is what keeps us from falling, it is God's Spirit that shows us our sin, and makes us turn from folly.
We do not desire to sin, why would we? We only desire to live for the Lord- God changes us and as Paul says, we do not want to sin, yet sometimes we do because of flesh, and we should always seek forgiveness, even though we are forgiven, we should always confess to the Lord, so we acknowledge we have sinned and pray for His strength not to.
Read Romans 6- good chapter about this.

In Romans chapter 6 it says
"Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of His wonderful grace? Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it? Or have you forgotten that when we were joined with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives.

We are no longer slaves to sin. For when we died with Christ we were set free from the power of sin.

i think you should keep the thought of sin out of your head in the first place because that's what causes the temptation

but when saying your prayers, it's always nice to add in "please forgive my sins and the sins of others" just for safe keeping... but also, how you define a 'sin' and how God defines a 'sin' may be entirely different, so just stick with this rule, just as a general way to tell if you are sinning or not:

if you do something, and God was in person next to you as you did it, would He be upset? or would He be okay with it?

A Christian should strive for perfection, but if and when he fails, he should repent and try not to sin again. To sin willfully and brag about it and think you are forgiven is sheer stupidity.
