"“The only amendments that could be brought up are ones they wanted or they all agreed to kill,” DeMint said. “It certainly is not the tradition of the Senate to have a group of people deciding which amendments could be offered.”

I can't say that bolsters my confidence. How about you?

At least some of those senators know what parts of this bill people are upset about. All I can say is keep a loud voice in their ear until they come up with bill that makes sense or just enforce what we have.

Bush and his backers are going to ram this bill through no matter how the American people feel about it .
We don't know what he has promised the Senators so they will vote and pass it .
That's why it is being done behind closed doors .
This affects the lives of Americana's and we should have the right to have some input on it , don't you think ?
LaRaza and Corporations are pushing for this bill to pass .

I have very little confidence in the majority of our so called leaders.
If our leaders had one ounce of common sense or integrity they would secure the borders.

They have all been saying they want to secure the borders but have done nothing. Meanwhile, back on the border, thousands continue to stream across unchecked. How many years have we been screaming for border security and how many years have we been ignored?

It's no wonder when you have idiots like Dianne Feinstein in our congress who thinks that in order to secure the border you must grant amnesty to millions. That's like saying in order to stop rape in this country you must grant amnesty to all the rapists.
How can you have any confidence in people that you know are trying to sell you down the river for their own personal gain?

Funny but I don't remember, voting in the Elections of another
Country. The reason , I say that is because, those Senators
seem to be from another Country.

These closed-doors meetings are not in our best interests.
If the Senate truly wanted open discussion and debate, they would hold all their meetings publicly.
This just wants me to give them all a NO CONFIDENCE vote.

If they even DARE to start in again with this thing I am calling up my Senators' offices and yelling my head off. I am sick and tired of this crap.

I'm very confident. I'll be yelling my head off, too. Telling them to push it forward!

Go ahead and thumb me down, but this too shall pass....... straight to the President's desk!

Man I love saying that.
