The average american gets about 150 grams per day, but Im not sure how much we are supposed to have. Sorry I cant be of much help!

You can have as many as you want, til you go into a coma. Or 48 grams, as recommended.

man u can eat like a million before you have an negative side effects. All I ate was sugar when I was growing up and I ended up fine.

The way your question is worded, it sounds like there is someone with a whip and chair controling what we are "allowed".

There is no rule, so you can eat what you want.
