I suggest you not buy it. You only lose 1 pound a month with some nasty side effects. People who tested it only lost 1 pound per month, that's barely effective in my opinion. It works by blocking some of the fat normally digested by the intestine. But the gross thing is guess where the fat ends up? The side effects include diarrhea, anal leakage, Fatty/oily stool, oily spotting, intestinal gas with discharge, bowel movement urgency, poor bowel control and headaches. Doesn't sound like fun to me, what are people suppose to do wear a diaper?
I suggest two all natural diet pills that are safe and have no side effects. They are Hoodia Gordonii and Cha de Bugre.
Hoodia Gordonii is a natural appetite suppressant derived from a South African cactus that the bushmen have eaten there for thousands of years. You need to make sure you get a strong pure hoodia that is certified to be genuine. I aways recommend Totalink's unbiased Hoodia comparison at http://hoodiagordonii.totalink.com/hoodia_comparison.html
Cha de Bugre, is a new weight loss supplement that is growing in popularity and is similar to Ma Huang (Ephedrine) without any of the bad effects. Cha de Bugre is from Brazil and has been used there safely for centuries. Cha de Bugre provides energy, fat burning and appetite suppression that benefit weight loss. Cha de Bugre also has additional uses that are known in Brazil that include being used as a mild diuretic, a cellulite reducer, aides in reducing herpes simplex outbreaks and a heart tonic. You can find more about it at http://hoodiagordonii.totalink.com/cha_de_bugre.html
Hope this helps, if you want to know more about Hoodia I have written a lot of articles on it. Just search Yahoo or Google under my name “Andrew Aitaken” to find them.
Remember, you should always consult your physician before taking any diet pill or weight loss supplement.

I purchased Alli at Walgreens yesterday, the 14th. They only had the 90 capsule bottles in. It was $59.95 plus tax. I took 2 yesterday and I have taken 1 today thus far and I have been to the restroom twice already. Nothing out of the ordinary. No oily leakage, loose stools, etc., but it seems to trap the fat like it is says it is supposed to.

I *was* quite excited about the new diet pill, Alli. Our Walgreen's received it a day early (Thursday) and I called and asked them to put one aside for me. I *thought* I had done enough research, but what I was seeing was "rah rahs" for the product.
Friday morning on the front page of the newspaper was a very long article about Alli. I read it very carefully and then read it again. Following that, I called Walgreen's and asked them *not* to reserve the that they had for me.
Why? Yes, I had read about all the "inner" troubles and having to "run very fast" quite often. I was willing to accept that. What changed my mind was the fact that, in tests running an entire year, the Alli users lost only *three* lbs more than the people who did not take it..
I can do better on my own. I do not want to spend a fortune on pills. I belong to a *free*online group with many thousands of members. I can track my food and their programs tell me if I have stayed within range--calories, fats, carbs and protein (one can also add others). I am able to join groups that interest me and I have made friends there. I receive points for tracking food, reading articles, exercising, posting to a group--there many ways to earn points.
What are the points for? No, they do not earn you a new baseball cap or a t-shirt. They are there, I believe, to keep you encouraged and to be proud of how many points you have earned. (Remember the gold stars on our school papers?)
The site is below, in my sources. Remember--it does work!

There are three main ways to lose weight quickly.
1) Use only water as liquid and eliminate all other liquid drinks from your diet. You must drink as much water as possible every day. You must drink about half of your weight. If you have weight of 200 pounds then you must drink about 100 oz of water.
2) The interval between the eating is very important. If you eat once, then you must eat next after 4 hours. You must take breakfast regularly. In the night eat your food three hours before going to bed.
3) Walking is very good. You must walk as much as you can. Walk everywhere you can. Use of elevators and escalators must be reduced and instead of these you must climb stairs more often.
These are some of the fastest ways to lose weight. By just following the simple steps, you can lose your weight very quickly. You must consult your doctor if want to change your diet or exercise routine.

I agree...I did the math too, and it really doesn't block a lot of calories. The best thing I like about alli so far is that it makes me so scared to eat more than 15 grams of fat (due to supposed side effects) per meal. This is helping me really stick to the diet and not cheat.

I agree you should shop around. Maybe wait to see if there are any sales. Prices could be steep at first. At some sites I saw it for around $50 for a two month starter kit. Here's one http://www.alli-info.com or you could try the GNC website, they're selling it too.

I work at Sam's Club and I saw huge displays of it today. I didn't know what it was so I had to come home and look it up =). But there was so much of it there. And Sam's always has the best prices.
