Oh come on, if you can't give it up for the sake of a job or even worse if you're on probation, you need some help.

To my knowledge, I would say about 24 hours. But, if you are going for a simple drug and alcohol testing for a job, I would think they just want to be sure you aren't drunk, so that wouldn't take the 24 hours. But, drinking is still legal as far as I know, and I would think if a person had a couple drinks or beers the night before but had a good nights sleep (eight hours at least) should be OK. But, it depends on what they are looking for. Is ANY alcohol too much? Then I would find a different place to work. hehehe

For every one "standard drink" it takes an hour to get out of your bloodstream. A standard drink would be one shot of liquor at approx. 40% or 80 proof, one glass of wine, or one beer. So therefore if you have 2 shots and 4 beers it would take roughly 6 hours. It does not matter how much water you drink, how much bread you eat, or how long you sleep. Alcohol is absorbed into your bloodstream, not just you digestive system. Another proven wrong myth is to drink Gatorade to help keep you hydrated. That is the WORST thing you can do. The reason why Gatorade is consumed as a "sports drink" is because it contains electrolytes. This is absorbed into your bloodstream to, yes, keep you hydrated, but if mixed with alcohol it does nothing but make you more drunk and quicker, which makes it very dangerous. Hope this is helpful.
**P.S. Please take into consideration that a "shot" is one normal shot glass full, a glass of wine is 4 ounces, and a beer is 12 ounces.

That all depends in quantity and what you drink, what is your weight, your height, but going back to the answer is only one day to 1 and 1/2 day, make sure you have a lot of fluids, like gatorades, some like sprite, sierra mist or even mountain dew, not water or coke or pepsi, even a beer is very good or twoo. Now, do you like to drink before or after you drink? because when you have an amuse your stomach opens wider a little ok, thats why a lot of european people drink wine, cognac or whiskey before, even in Mexico, is a tradition from our grand parents, so, if you are that so skinny o slim you MUST eat ok, or eat after you drink, drink some gatorade and rest, or sleep as much as you can ok. See you later. Sorry my bad spelling ok.
P.S. Make sure you have cramberry juice too, don't eat watermelon or fruit that is too cold for the stomach, you will be down in pain ok. and don't drink ice water too, warm water helps too.

The actual thing is 1 beer stays in your system for 2 hours. Its hard to say what it'd be for other drinks. Just make sure you drink lots and lots of water, and just give it 48 hours to be o the safe side.

Drug testing for the most part does not include alcohol because unless you are drunk when we take the piss test, alcohol doesn't show up.

It depends. If you just have a beer or 2, it'll be out of your system in a few hours.

If you get plastered, I'd give in 24 hours.
