Hmm I've never had any personal experiences with any type of spell. Perhaps it is like therapy; it has potential to be somewhat effective if the person believes so. I don't think it can be as extreme like bringing death to someone; as far I know wishing someone would die doesn't actuallybring death to them. However, if it's a less serious spell such as a certain someone will love me, the person may believe this and maybe even make some effort to make this happen. Other than that, I'm in the middle on this one.

Go read the fiction book series, Dies The Fire, etc., by S.M.Stirling which has a major component of a modern Wicca group with a good sense of humor. One major point is the evil curses will rebound on the originator, just like evil prayers.

They could "work", but they really are the devil's working: Satan wants to destroy us by misleading us. The only true power from God, our Heavenly Father, is what will save us, in the end. What I mean is, is that even though the things that can't be coincidences aren't necessarily coincidences: rather, they're something that are trying to mislead you. Trust in our Heavenly Father, his Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost: the Holy Ghost will bear witness of the truth to you. Pray for the true answer.

Yes, they can work.
The kind that works best is the kind that seems easiest to you. Not the answer you wanted I'm sure, but it's the truth of it. Different people work different ways.

In your life you need a sense of direction and some people do turn to spells as a sense of direction.
but in the long run, what are spells going to get you?
trusting in jesus christ as your personal savior and beliving he came down to earth to save you is the way to get to heaven and have eternal life there.
Think of your time on earth as mearly a second becuase while in heaven with God, you are there for eternity.

I've never tried to bring death to someone nor would I try so I can't answer if it works or not.
As to spells I've done yes they work.
