While throwing a good punch is based on technique, the aspect of KO power is normally a trait people are born with and tend to have naturally. Training can only get you so far, you have to have some natural ability. Anyone can score a KO if you fight the right opponent, but becoming a KO artist tends to be natural ability enhanced by training.

there is nothing more exciting than a knockout. It's obvious you need to know how to throw a punch but the true Power is god given. Not everyone is born with the big shoulders with wide back and great leverage. All that is needed to knockout an opponent with one punch. i.e. George Foreman, Julian Jackson, Hearns, K Galaxy, Tyson and Carbahal. Go to Youtube and check these guys out. I'm talking one punch then it's good night.

Like the old saying goes the last thing a puncher loses is his punch. U either have it or dont. U can train and learn how to put ur punches together but for raw 1 punch power u have to already have it in u. The list of fighters who wore their opponents down before ko'ing them is long. The list of fighters who could throw 1 shot and end it is shorter.

It can be learned, the blogbaba is the example, over time I got better at it. Believe it or not, it doesn't take a lot of power, it's more timing and placement of the punch. A clean crisp shot on the point of the chin does a better job than a brick upside someone's head. Sure, it helps to hit hard, but it isn't entirely necessary to be effective. It always amazed me how easy it was to break someone's jaw. A quick hook to the chin is just as effective as an over hand right so long as it lands on the button.

A one punch knockout all has to do with technique.
For a KO punch, you need to be able to throw your body weight into the punch.
That is, stepping forward and leaning into the punch so all your body weight is on your front foot.
For an effective punch, when your arm extends your shoulder should be touching (and protecting) your chin.
I've never obtained a KO punch but my trainer and I are working on it. All I know, is that it's not natural.
For everyone, it takes practice, and practice and practice!!

its natural... u can practice and train but there is nothing that u can do to make ur hands heavier or faster. look at some of the fights with some of the guys mentioned above and a few that were not mentioned such as roy jones in his prime, naseem hamed in his prime who could turn around just about any fight with one flush punch, corralles at lightweight he was dangerous from start to finish, and check the fight between torres and cotto, to watch a natural ko artist who looks out of shape but can punch something fierce till his last

the adult adult males above me aced it in reality, imma say it elementary, once you're hit with a vehicle, the speedier it is,the added it impacts you. Brock's punches must be difficult as Fck, yet they don't look to be so quickly, also Accuracy must have some thing to do with that, i heard Forrest Griffin suggested Anderson's punches are not fairly that quickly, in basic terms deadly precise. You gotta comprehend a thanks to punch, the position to punch, you gotta have p.c. and means too. And nicely cardio, ask Shane Carwin on that one.

You either have it or you don't.
Look at Felix Trinidad. He hits hard and he was just born with it. Some guys are muscular and look like they hit hard but they don't. Its a natural occurrence and only a select few are truly KO punchers.
On of my favorites was Junior Middleweight Julian Jackson. He really hit hard.

it has to do with talents.
look at anuwat the muay thai boxer. He has the hardest punch i ever seen. and he's not big and muscular. maybe he doesnt even bench press as much as you do. but his punch can KO you.

It can be improved with practice, but like sprinting speed, it is mostly natural. I grew up with guys who weren't in better shape, weren't more accurate, weren't more anything..... but they could just knock the snot out of you.
