I adore these marvelous creatures. I have adopted two of them and they are in a wolf preservation range in North Dakota; one is all black male and the other is a mixed grey and white female. One day before I'm too old to go ... I want to go and see them in their own natural habitat. I plan on willing my monies (as I have no children) to the wolf sanctuary. Thanks for letting me voice my love for these wonderful creatures.

Yes, I love wolves. I collect tee shirts, sweatshirts, pictures. I even have a set of dishes with wolves on them! I have adopted wolves already through the national wildlife association, and I think they are very intelligent and beautiful animals. I sign petitions to protect them all the time too! I have a dog that looks like a black wolf! He is actually half German Shepherd, and half Akita, but everyone thinks he looks like a wolf. I also believe that everyone has their own totem animal, and I believe mine is a wolf!

I do. I think the wolf is the most beautiful animal. I wish they were all tame. I would like to have one. I lived in Colorado in the Rockies. I had a neighbor who had a wolf. His beauuutiful wolf was not completely tame though. He was a one man pet that's for sure. A good watch dog and very protective of his master. He stayed close to home and never bothered the neighbors. But if you dared to raise a hand to his master that wolf would eat you alive in the blink of an eye. I got to pet him a few times. But only because his master talked to him as I did. I would love to have him or a wolf like him for my pet.

Wolves are beautiful animals, but tremendously dangerous. Wolves normally avoid people, and they never get fully domesticated. But when they get tamed, people think about them like dogs.
However, they are stronger, faster, and smarter than dogs. They also don't submit to people like dogs do. If you startle a tamed wolf, show him disrespect, or make him angry, then he may try to bite thru a bone or to kill a person. And if they can take down a deer in the wild, then they can easily take down a person...
Observe their beauty from a distance...

i love wolves...they are at the top of my wild animals list. i don't think they should be pets however...nor should people breed hybrids and sell them off to anyone who has the money. most people can't rasie a dog without behavior problems let alone a wolf hybrid. i would however take one in if it needed a home.
its like someone mixing a lion with a house cat.
the wolf is one of my many familiars/totem animals.

My favorite animal after tigers! Their howls are the most beautiful sound in nature in my opinion. I don't believe they should ever be kept as pets though. They should run free. Preferably without morons shooting them for stupid reasons.
