they have already......America just isn't going to use it.

The problem U don't under stand GOD's intent. There is not enough power in enough solar cells to run a car unless u pull a trailer the size of a 18 wheeler. If u think that CO2 is a pollutant ,it is not. That is how GOD marked the molecule so the plants would know that was for the plants to recycle . So the plants take in CO2 and give us back the O2 . The plants keep the C to make its food out of.

There are cars like that. The Zap Xebra is an electric car that plugs into any 110-volt power outlet and goes up to 40 mph and 40 miles per charge.
http://www.zapworld.com/ZAPWorld.aspx?id=188
The Zap-X is coming out in about a year and will be able to go 350 miles per charge, up to 155 mph, and recharge in 10 minutes. It'll be expensive though, somewhere around $60,000.
http://www.zapworld.com/ZAPWorld.aspx?id=4560
The Xebra Xero has solar panels on its roof as a solar-electric hybrid and basically has the same specs as the regular Xebra

There's also the Tesla Roadster electric car which goes over 200 miles per charge and very fast, but costs $92,000. It's available now though.
http://www.teslamotors.com/index.php
And more electric cars will be available in the near future. There's also electric cars that are basically juiced-up golf carts but can only go about 25 mph. Don't forget electric-gasoline hybrids like the Prius. There's also cars that can run on biodiesel.
These cars are available, they're just not widely used yet. Don't worry, they will be in the not-so-distant future.

The automobile as we know it will not cease to be a cause of global warming until it becomes either a hydrogen powered or total electric vehicle.
In the former case, the hydrogen fuel can be made from ordinary water using electricity, preferably generated by a non-fossil fuel power plant. Obviously, hydrogen manufacturing plants would have to be built in place of gasoline refineries, and we would need hydrogen pipelines and "hydrogen gas stations" on every corner.
In the latter case the on board batteries would be charged by plugging it in at home where you would be buying electric power from non fossil fuel sources. Improvements in battery technology are still needed to make this happen on a widespread basis.
I don't look for either of these things happening soon because Congress is supporting "ethanol" as a dubious replacement for gasoline; it gets them quick votes from agribusiness. In the future look for opposition to electric and hydrogen cars to come from Big Corn. Sound familiar?

They won't.
An average car now has appx 150 horsepower.
The solar panels required to gather the energy to produce 150 horsepower would cover the average Wal Mart Super Center size parking lot.
The "Sunrayce" experimental solar powered cars use bicycle wheels and very high grade bearings among other "tricks" to be able to sustain 30 to 35 mph for 1 to 2 hours a day.... with a very light one-passenger vehicle specifically designed for the race. They spend the morning from sunrise to start of the race leg carefully aligning the solar panels to gather the maximum energy possible... then after the day's leg... they spend the remaining hours of sunlight again using the panel to gather as much energy as possible.
There is NO WAY that the public would accept the current level of solar power technology for their primary transportation energy source.
Moonlight is so weak that it just isn't worth trying to collect energy from it.

Cars cannot reduce global warming. The best they could do is just not cause it.
Lots of people are trying to develop cars (and trucks and planes and ships and trains and buses and electricity generators) that do not cause global warming, but so far with limited success.

They do. They are called flex fuel vehicles and they run on American-made ethanol from corn. All of the carbon is recycled so global warming does not occur. There are dozens of flex fuel cars out there being sold everyday.

In which world r u living
USA has already made hydrogen car which will release water after combustion.
It will be in market after 2-3 years but high costs make it unpopular.

They already have made alternatives, BUT as long as you have "President's" who are rich from oil, Corporations that are extorting huge profits from oil, gasoline and diesel by selling it to people who have no choice but to buy it, you are not about to see them on the market anytime soon. These "rich" HITLER'S run the world and their pollutive products kill thousands if not millions each year and are the ones RESPONSIBLE for the lack of progress in saving our planet. What can we the little people do against those who have the money to destroy anyone that opposes them? Let them do as they please after all MONEY in the end isn't going to save even THEM.....................

Nuclear power does not contribute to global warming.
Using nuclear generated electric power to manufacture hydrogen from water or to power electric vehicles is the only current technology that could do what you are asking.
Are you willing to do what it takes to combat global warming and support construction of hundreds of new nuclear power plants?

They actually do have solar and electric cars but they are very impractical and they will not stop the Earth from warming, it is a natural process.
