I wish everyone will join in no matter what religion they hold to. The power of prayer should never be doubted.

I am an ex-pat living in Gaza and all this violence in the name of political parties is killing us. People hit in the cross fire, children dodging bullets to take the end of high school exams, power outage causing water shortages to nearly half the city, the UN pull out aid to the poor, you can name a hundred more tragedies and with your prayers they can feel some small degree of comfort.

And also spend a few minutes to pray for all the victims in the world from both man made and natural disasters.

My thanks and prayer to all that remember us in your prayers.

Agreed all this violence has to stop. Sadly enough fanatics on both sides (Jewish and Palestinian) honestly get in the way of the peace process.

I think the average person just wants to live in peace and go on with their lives. I lived in Ramat Gan (suburb of Tel Aviv) I saw Arabs, Jews and Christians in the city of Haifa living together in peace helping each other, running businesses.

Honestly the Middle East is a beautiful region, too many politics get in the way of people's lives there.

A lot of people are praying for peace?

Where's the result?

Praying isn't going to fix anything, you have to actually act to invoke change. We are all agents of free will, so each person has to find their own peace to stop fighting...
