As a mom , i say that you should respect what your mom says. If you do it behind her back then she won't trust you on others things. I let my oldest daighter do it at 14. Ask once and if she says no the let it go...don't nag about it. Let a little time go by and ask again.

No! If you tried, you'd have to find a place that doesnt need parental permission, and if they do that, it's probably not real clean, so you could get an infection. Then you'd have to tell your mom, who would probably be say, "I told you so." And probably ground you forever.

How old are you?
When you're eighteen and living in college or on your own, do what you want.
