i have think curly hair and a oval/long face. i also wear brown plastic rectangular glasses. i want to get a short haircut but i am not sure how it will look. what do you think?

Go ahead, I am a cosmetologist and highly recommend that you get a short cut. It will enhance the body that most people try hard to get in their hair. There will probably be few that will try to copy your cut, but won't have the same effect that your hair will give. It will make your hair healthy and also make you feel cleaner and neater. GO AHEAD try it.....

I think you should get the back and sides buzzed 1/4 to 1/8 inch and leave the top longer (about 1 1/2 to two inches). Do NOT straighten, keep the curl on top to give it some volume. That would look great on you, especially if you have a somewhat long neck.

well, i think you should try to take different hairstyles. so try to have a short hair. you should not be that hardly conscious to your hair or outfit, but what matter most is your attitude. i mean, what ever styles of hairstyles and outfit you wear still depends on how you carry ii. thers no such thing as UGLY.. remember: the real beauty is in the ete of the beholder..
if your going to ask me, well i tried different hair styles. and from that trials.. i finally found hairstyles which are good for me and not.

Short is good for the summer time and for oval faces, you could wear it curly or straight

With a long oval face, you should get it cut up to your chin. That would look nice! Hope I helped! Good luck with your hair!!!

long hair - there are good examples the place it juts comes off, yet it makes women appear like cliched lesbians, or tomboys. If one needs to look incredibly female, long hair - seem on the main modern soaps and US dramas - all long hair, uncommon is it the only with short. if wide-unfold lifestyle does that - its saying something

just get a few inches off...then decide NEXT TIME if you wanna go shorter. if you go too short it will take a LONG time to grow back. but to answer your question, i think it will look great from what you've described.
