we just had our first real gig last night. we are a all women drumming group, using mainly djembes. we don't want to be openly pagan, but it would be nice to incorporate paganism into our name. we have thought that "venus rising" might be a good name. what do you think about it, and do you have any other suggestions?

That is a fun question!!! I don't know - I think I would go with a fun name to attract others to your group if you want that to happen. I wouldn't make it to intimidating.

I have a small baking business and it took a long time to come up with the name - it was a process. I settled on Queen of Tartz the first second I heard it (I make a ton of pies.) It just took tossing it around and making connections with what I do best and how I want to be regarded.

I think I would have the drumming group over for a meditative session and then brainstorm together. If a group comes up with its own name, it gives everyone more ownership and pride in their activity.
