I can't drink beer bc it's gross and i like smirnoffs but they are so sugary i get full before i get a buzz. Anyone know of a good drink that is cheap that i can make at home that tastes good? Amaretto sours are my fave but can't drink too much of that either! My liquor of choice ixs vodka so preferably anything that is good with vodka?

how about plain old vodka, tonic, fresh squeezed lime, and ice?
or if tonic water is too sweet, try Canada Dry's "bitter lemon" as a mixer, or a third mixer option which goes great with vodka is a pink grapefruit sparkling juice which sells in 12 oz. bottles at any Starbucks location.
Try giving beer another chance. Most likely you are used to Bud, Miller Lite etc. which I agree, it is nasty!! Instead try a better beer, also known as craft beer, such as Lindeman's Framboise Lambic (raspberry beer brewed in Belgium), or a belgian-wit/hefeweiss (wheat beer) style such as Blue Moon, Legacy Midnight Wit ale, Victory Whirlwind wit ale, or Paulaner Hefeweizen. Light, easy to drink, semi-citruis taste. Very refreshing for summer months.

A Alize Rose Martini, I guarantee you will love it. The recipe below
Mix 1 ounce of Alize Rose, 1 ounce of vanilla vodka and 2 to 3 ounces of lemonade in a martini shaker filled half way with ice.
Shake and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with stemmed cherries.

Try mixing it with lemonade or try a White Russian.If you like vodka, give Rum a try. It mixes well with many things. Try a Long Island Ice Tea or a Whiskey Sour. Buy a wine of your choice mix with sprite. For the colder months I love to mix Malibu with hot chocolate.

Well you like vodka, but not too sugary, and lightish in body. Hmmm, try Mixing it with cranberry juice as the tart taste will keep you sharp, and if you like just add a wee bit of peach schnapps just to finish, adjusting to your tolerance to sweetness

I would make you this drink:
"Smultron" - Swedish Vodka (This vodka got wild strawberries in it) You could in example make a great cosmopolitan of 4cl wild strawberry - vodka, 2cl Cointreau, 1cl cranberriejuice and the juice from half a lime :) Enjoy!

A nice dry Kamikaze is my favorite. Vodka, Triple Sec and Lime shaken w/ ice and strained into a martini glass. Delish!!!

My favorite drink is vodka and Rockstar (energy drink) I used to drink redbull nad vodka all the time, but this is so much better and they are finally selling it in bars yeaaa

It's called a Strawberry Shortcake. It consists of vodka, cranberry juice and a little bit of cream. Yummy!!!!!! A melon ball consists of Midori and 7-Up.

How about a vodka tonic. They are light and refreshing. Its vodka, tonic and a squeeze of fresh lime. A great summertime drink.
