how long does it take, before it's off my credit report?

okay... I'm assuming that you were served with papers and this whole suit went to court and your creditor got a judgement placed against you. If that's the case it's now a matter of public record. It will stay on your credit report for 10 years and will next to impossible to get off before then. If it's been paid in full then you need to check all 3 reports and make sure that they say the account has been paid in full. That's really all you can do. If it doesn't say paid in full then you can contact each credit bureau and dispute the account for free. They will investigate and it will be changed. hope I helped.

Approximately seven years from the date it was paid in full and cleared.

It won`t go off by it`s self.You are the one that will have to contact all three major credit bureau`s and for a fee,they will set the record`s straight.Sad but true.

Normally seven to 10 years, altho they will tell you three.
