Worst and least worst painful ways to die?

What do you think are the WORST and least painful ways to die?

NO.
this was not a cry for help or anything along those lines.
i was reading through archives and the topic was brought up and i wanted to see others' opinions. :]

In my opinion it would be freezing to death. I hear you got to sleep and never wake.

Least painful, going to sleep and not waking up. Worst, multiple trauma from like a car wreck, where your pinned in with multiple fractures of bones and bleeding. Burning to death, electrocuted, hanging, almost all other forms have a painful element.

Even people shot in the head, the hearing is the last thing to go and I have always wondered during a code, is the patient listening to us trying to save their lives??

Least is easy either slith your wrists theres no pain just everlasting sleep, or poison or just the widely preferred old age naturally sleep but don't wake up one day it's the best death.

Worst= opinion obviously for most but for me I think the most painful way would have to be having my body parts being sawed off slowly by some unrecognizable force who would keep me alive and force my eyes open to watch the reflection in a mirror of what's happening to me

FIRST, if this is a 'cry for help', as is suicidal thoughts, there are hot-lines you can call to talk to someone.

If it's not, there are lots of books about the dying process. One is called, How We Die by Sherwin Neuman (or maybe Newman) MD.

A slow, torturous death is the worst. Some very painful ways to die are inhaling deadly gases-Jewish Holocaust victums suffocated in gas chambers. Being shot up the anus, and being left to die is very painful death. Being stood up and being disemboweled (cut open your stomach to let your intestines spill) while you are alive is horrible way. Being burned alive at the stake is extremely painful because it takes awhile for your body to die while the fire gets to your vital organs. You feel the burn for awhile. THE WORST PAINFUL way of dieing of all, in my opinion, is a crusification. If anyone save "Passion of the Christ" it took hours for Jesus to die while he stood on a cross in complete agony from all the bodily wounds.

The LEAST WORST painful way to die is dieing in your sleep.

I would say that the worst would definitely be burning alive, and as far as the least painful...hypothermia. From what I've heard, it can actually be quite pleasant. My fiancee said he accidentally went scuba diving in a wet suit that was too thin and got hypothermia. He said he felt more peaceful then any other time in his life, like he knew it was time, and he was glad. Then someone noticed he had stopped swimming and they pulled him out of the water...good thing for me!

worst:
rat poisoning or poisoning of any kind, such as poisonous flowers, snake bite venom, spider venom, or eating/drinking things like detergent or gasoline or paint

ebola virus

pancreatic cancer---you actually die of starvation bc you can no longer eat food as the pancreas depricates; death is rather fast for cancer, 9 months, but it's very scary and very painful

colon cancer---need I say why? In its final stages, beyond cure, very painful stomach pains and probably spreads to other nearby organs, like heart, kidneys, liver, bladder, etc.

rabies---bad stomach pains, body pains, fever, then delusions, delirium, seizures, loss of control, violence, and death

car accident---imagine being all alone in a turned over car and in pain and knowing youre going to die

falling off of a rollarcoaster

plane crash

Dehydration/starvation

dyssentary (diahrrea)

Any other type of cancer

drowning

Least:
old age
dying in sleep
cocaine overdose (symptoms very brief, immediate, quick death)
suicide or homocide by cyanide (death is immediate, no painful symptoms before)
lethal injection (capital punishment)
heart attack
diabetic coma (you fall asleep and then die)
strangulation (being choked or smothered)
childbirth

Worst is probably burning or suffocation. Least painful would be anything that kills you while you are sleeping.

Any kind of disease that causes a lot of pain but takes a long time to kill you would suck as well.
