yeah if you lived in another century! Many women today are making more money than men at the same jobs. Even if this were not the case, why would you want to suppress your daughter like that. Mabey she would be an excellent advocate for fairness and equality in the future. I totally believe in not sugar coating things for kids, and telling them like it is. Instead of paying her less, Explain thatthough unfair, it is how things are in the world, and use it as an example to empower her!

Since the Real World is messed up, why not teach them how to make a difference? If you pay the girl more, you'll be just like the idiots out there now.

Hahahaha. Of course you should. Only kidding. Definitely not. Funny idea, though.

What you should really do is pay her less and make her do all the work. THEN she would be prepared for the real world. Psht.

No. You shouldn't. Why condition her to settle for less and teach him to expect more? It might happen in the real world, but if you start early, you might have some responsibility for changing that someday.

Gender discrimination is not acceptable. Why support it?

I really hope this is not a serious question. Just because the world may not see men and women as equal in the workplace does not mean that you shouldn't in your own home.

equal opportunity, no allowance for either of them. I don't believe in getting paid for the things they should be doing anyway, such as helping out around the house. Think about it when they move out they will be surprised that they won't get paid for washing their own dishes.....

You should only pay your daughter less if she significantly younger, or if she doesn't do as many chores as your son.

omg plz tell me ur not serious.

paying her less is just letting her kno that she shud expect less in the world and letting ur son kno that he shud expect more. actually, u shudnt pay them at all. i dont get allowance and i hav to do evrything around the house. tell em to suck it up.
