I just saw a hawk in my backyard today! He was just hanging out like a robin would do! I've never seen a hawk just mill around like that in my backyard before. I am wondering if perhaps his natural habitat has been taken away, and he has nowhere to go. :( I do have woods back there, but still, I have never seen this before. It was very strange!

NO, God will not fix it ! American `backyard birds` are becoming scarce due to ignorance and disregard of the natural world, something that is glaringly obvious from your question. To protect something you need to CARE and UNDERSTAND. Left to God, nothing will ever get done !

I did notice that there aren't many birds in the last two years. I have a bird bath and there aren't many birds out there using it anymore. I have noticed more urban hawks though too.

Yes, I do agree....every year I have a finch feeder..this year...NO BIRDS...and its not only the birds, its also the BEES....
