I'm a little new at my school. My friends in my science class are like all not virgins. They tell my the minute that I walked into the door my first day of school, they knew that I was a virgin. All most all the students at my school are not virgins. Some of my other friends are virgins and tell me that most of the people that say they're not virgins, really are.I'm a Christian, but have I been waiting too long?

You'll do it when you feel its the right time, and not when people pressure or tease you about it. There is no such thing as "waiting too long" or "not enough." Its up to YOU only. And if your peers can't accept that, they are too immature to be your friends. You sound like a sensible girl - keep your head!

If they're not virgins they should wish they were. My husband was a virgin when we started dating. He was 21. I had sex once at 19, but it basically sucked, so I held out again until I was dating my husband. When I told my college friends I was dating a virgin they thought that was so cool. And we never had to worry about STD's or any of that crap. I can't say I wish I'd waited until I was married- we dated for 6 years and that would have been a while to wait. But it's definitely great to wait for the absolute right person to come along. It makes what can be an awkward, embarrassing thing into a fun, romantic, comfortable thing. So WAIT!!! Wait as long as you need. And don't listen to the girls at school. I bet some of them wish they had waited.

I'm proud to say that I am saving my virginity until I am married. I plan to make this commitment official in front of my entire church soon. Your purity is the most precious gift you can ever give your husband and it is supposed to be special and stay that way until your wedding night. Don't cave because you're the 'new girl' and you feel like you won't fit in unless you go for it. Chances are, sooner or later you will regret it and there is no way you can ever get it back once you have given it away (to the wrong person at the wrong time)!! It is ultimately your decision but just know you are not alone. There are other teens out there who AREN'T having sex!!!!

Be proud that you stand above the rest. Being a Christian woman is tough. Just because someone is a virgin or not doesn't make them any better. Actually bragging about it is pretty sad. Be committed to waiting till marriage and God will bless you with so much. You're doing great!!!!!

You can never wait too long. Take your time, find the right guy, honor yourself. These days, there is a lot of pressure from media, movies, etc. on young women to grow up too fast ... makeup, sex. Don't worry about what other girls are doing. Be proud of your convictions. Their actions are irrelevant. And even if they act like they have it all together ... they honestly don't. The girls who focus on school first and love later always win in the end. Trust me on this!

no. if you are christian, then you should wait til you're married. but nobodies stopping you, you'll just have to deal with the consequences. i was a virgin all through highschool. dont worry about it. when you hear stories about how your friend gave it up and then never saw the guy again you'll be proud of yourself for not following them

How old are you?
If you are young enough to asking a question like this, you're probably too young to have sex.
Why do you care so much about what the other kids are doing? Don't let them pressure you into doing things you don't feel like you're ready to do just because it's cool.

I know I sound cliche, but it's true.

Keep waiting!
Be proud that you didn't give it up like they did. Don't give in just because they did. Who knows, they probably are virgins themselves waiting on you to crack so they can label YOU as the s*lut.

They just want to seem cool and it really not. Hold on to your ground abe just be yourself.

there is a HBO show called BULLSHIT. they explain things in a logical manner. and one point is back in the day a girl was worth more as a virgin. but this aint the dark ages n e more. and its just sex. not that it should be rushed into. if u have a bf that u like intimately and it u feel its time, then just do it.
