I have an HP Laptop that is just under a year old. My IE7 will not access webpages, even though I have a good connection. I have dialup and am using the Netscape 8 that came installed on the laptop. Is there a setting I can check or should I download IE7 again?

Check your settings under Tools > Internet Options - particularly your Security settings. I uninstalled IE7 and went back to IE6, because IE7 does not allow you to have your Browser settings the way you want if it feels that the settings are "Not Secure."

I say that it's up to me the way I wanna have my computer set-up and no Internet Browser should be telling me what settings I'm ALLOWED to have on MY OWN computer.

I understand that some people may need and appreciate this option, but the fact that it Cannot Be Disabled was my breaking point. Who wants to deal with a warning that my Browser Settings aren't safe Every Time The Browser Is Opened?!

Because IE7 SUCKS A*S! And it's too late to get rid of it once you download it! Should have stuck with IE6!
