Does anyone who has chihuahuas have that when you arent around, they cry, and sound like little monkeys? Mine does taht when i leave the room, or if she wants something, or misses someone.

yes, a lot of dogs do that when their person leaves. it's a sign that they are very attached and that they miss you. my dog, a jack russell terrier, does that when i leave. sometimes she will sit by the door and cry for me until i come back in. i try to take her out as often as i can or take her with me when it permits to take a dog and she enjoys that very much. it's just a sign that they love you very much.

Chihuahuas are social animals and tend to bond with only one person. I have 3 and they play with each other constantly & don't cry because they are too busy entertaining themselves. Give lots of TLC & it should outgrow the habit. They crave attention & lots of love. An ideal pet!!!!

Yeah, mine are quite vocal. They whine cry, howl to get my attention. Do your chihuahuas sing? Mine do! It is so cute.

yes that is normal for chihuahuas they are a very devoted pet and don't want to be left behind
