I heard that they were pulled off the shelves everywhere... does anyone know why? is there any places that still sell them?

the FCC made them change the name... its now called "censored" ... same exact can but has "censored" written across it... they are still fighting to get the old name back though... they have a myspace page and a website that they report all the news on, check 'em out...

They were pulled from the shelves after complaint about the name "Cocaine". I also hear that many of the energy drink company's are have trouble with teens buying to much and getting sick. (I also think a few have died but I'm not 100% sure.)

They were pulled off the shelves so the name could be changed. The FDA was considering legal action to prevent the use of the name and stop the use of their slogan as it implied that the energy drink was related to the illicit drug cocaine. The product will be renamed, re-marketed, and then re-released .

They ran in to some issues with the FDA due to their name and advertising slogan, along with claims of nutritional value placed on their cans. None of the claims had been verified through the FDA, and coupled with their name and slogan (which was something about being related to the illegal substance with the same namesake), was deemed an illegal substance by the FDA.

Ironic, but that's the law for you.

they pulled them off because of the name it's a bad influence on teenagers and adults too, you can buy it online though just search cocaine energy drinks..

cokacola (the drink) used to have cocaine in it beforehand interior the day. yet once you cant locate any cocaine beverages, make some, incredibly get a drink and cocain and combine it, appears like velocity once you drink it. =}

2 kids have died from what their trying to prove
is from energy drinks.be careful with them rather
it be cocaine or red bull.

they were pulled because people started gettting addicted and having affects from it and they might sell it on ebay if i were you id just buy coke if your so curious
