First date with this girl huh....? : ) The question is not a problem. I'm here to help. Consider these places...

Red Lobster
Road House
Ruby Tuesday's
China Buffet

Or....better yet...why not ask the girl where she would like to go? At least you know then for sure that she will be pleased with the place.

Good luck on your date! : )

How about romantic? Pack a picnic basket with finger foods, head down to the sea side, lake or any pretty place just before the moon comes up bring some soft music and watch the stars if your not into that try applebees, my young adult daughter says it's a great date place

Small, family owned independent restaurants are the best way to go. But if you want a chain, look for something quiet (no Chi-chis or sports bars or such, you can't hear yourselves talk). The Olive Garden and Red Lobster are reasonable and the service and atmosphere is okay for a date. Any restaurant like that.

I'd highly recommend, though, that you check out small independent restaurants in your area. Have fun!

Olive Garden...she can eat all the salad and bread sticks, and take her main course home!
Fridays! I love their food and the atmosphere is nice, lots of things on the wall to talk about
Dave and Buster's, for a date that loves to play games and eat.
My ultimate favorite place is Cheeseburger in paradise!!!! *****5 stars!!!!! It sounds like a burger joint but it isn't! it's a fancy bar and grill Jamaican style, looks like a beach...the food is out of this world, the drinks are huge, fruity, and very colorful! If you said we were going there, I might marry you!

Olive Garden! It's nice, but not too fancy (you don't have to dress up.) The food is good, but it doesn't cost a fortune. And there are meat and non-meat meals, so she will be happy if she is a vegetarian.

**** dude, I'd take a chick to a fast food joint, just not McDonalds, but IN n' OUT would work fine. Or cook yourself, and really impress her.
