Don't use q-tips..
that will only worsen the problem.
Don't go to the doctor either.. They'll only give you drops and make you waste money.

1. Get an ear candle. [they're hard to find, but if you can find one, that's the cure to all of your problems.]

2. Try peroxide. Lay on one side at a time and put peroxide in your ears until it stops bubbling.
2B. Once it stops bubbling let your ear drain out as much as possible.
2C. Take an eyedropper or a syringe full of WARM water and rinse your ear.
2D. Continue this a few times THEN take a q-tip and dry up the remaining water and peroxide.

3. If that doesn't work, take an extremely hot shower and just stand in front of the water, you don't have to be under the water.
3B. You'll have to stay in there about 30-45 minutes so it can melt the ear wax [by changing your body temperature]
3C. Repeat step 2 after the time is up and your ears are still hot so maybe the wax will still be melted.

Your ears are probably filled with wax that a q-tip cannot reach.

*You can also use a hot bowl of water and put your ear in/near it and it'll do the same as the shower.

There are ear wax removal kits available in most pharmacies that instruct you and supply you with the equipment to irrigate your ears. This may be the problem as people who use Q-tips on a regular basis sometimes need to irrigate due to the Q-tip compacting the wax rather than removing it. It also may be a little fluid build-up behind the eardrum. You could try taking an antihistamine for a few days also dry the ear out. Alos, try plugging your nose and mouth and applying pressure to try to assist your ears in popping.

Are they clogged with wax, is this common for you?

Or are they stopped up from the temp??

Try a sinus medication first, it will dry out your sinuses and Eustachian tubes. My son has had this problem since childhood and it works well for him.

If you need to flush out your ears this is the recipe my husbands ear specialist gave us.

1/4 cup of each, white vinegar, alcohol and warm water. Flush thoroughly with an ear syringe This will help correct the PH balance in your ears. Hydrogen peroxide will also bubble stuff out of your ears.
