This is what the Bible says:(Mat 22:30 DRB) For in the resurrection they shall neither marry nor be married, but shall be as the angels of God in heaven.

According to Scriptures there is no marriage in heaven.

I did read the whole chapter and there is nothing before or after that changes the plain meaning of Jesus' teaching which is that there will be no marriages in heaven. In heaven there is no purpose or reason for procreation according to orthodox Christian teaching. The Bible says that we will instead be like the angels in heaven intent and purposeful in worshipping God instead as the whole purpose of our being.

There are lots of differant interpretation of scripture and some peopel chose to believe Joseph Smith version (of reality), this includes what he added to their KJV Bible and his other scriptures. Mormons cannot conprehend praising God forever with their loved ones and being blissfully happy, but they enjoy the human idea of procreating forever.

It's not just Mormons, it is whoever chooses to believe that they are going to be together after death and resurrection. However, how do you know catholics didn't write that into the bible for fun when translating? How do you even know the people who were pagan by original practice would create a pure religion? I doubt that catholics set things up as Jesus wanted. Therefore everything is corrupt, what will we ever do?

What the bible is refering to, is that there will be no need of earthly marriage.

Also, we believe that it is our duty to "multiply and replenish the earth" you want us to do it without being married? Eww! And once we do get married to the person we love, why would God seperate us at death?

Read the rest of the chapter for heavens sake!(get it?! "Heavens sake!")

Celestial marriages is possible, for we will all be married to the Bride, as the Bridegroom is Jesus Christ

What about Matthew 16:19 "...whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven...?"

Your reference talks only about in the Resurrection they don't marry. It doesn't mention about those that are already married.

I believe that I will be with my husband forever. We do not get "divorced" at death.

It was in response to the Sadducees who didn't believe in the resurrection at all. And for them, they won't be married in heaven. Most people won't. Only those that inherit the Celestial Kingdom will be married for time and eternity.

Because in the additional scriptures, which we also believe to be the word of God, provisions are made for celestial marriages to be performed here on earth, both in person and
by proxy for those who have passed on.

Hard to take? Try reading the Book of Mormon, that's the only way you will or will not believe it.

It has to do with a very special priesthood power that Jesus gave to Peter in Mathew 16:

"19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."

Only those marriages which our bound on earth with that special priesthood authority can continue to be "bound in heaven."

My question for you to just consider in your own heart, in your own time - do you really want to be right? Is is so important for you to prove us wrong, is your marriage so bad, that you don't even want to consider the chance of a possibility that maybe you could be with your wife forever?
