no you shouldnt - carbs give body energy so you should be having complex carbs in the first half of the day and more protein in the second half of the day and wright after working out because protein repairs muscle.
its a bad idea cutting out carbs because any diet you can follow all your life is not a good diet and most likely you will gain weight back.

Well if you are looking to gain muscle, Then protein will deffinetly help. But don't completely cut out the carbs. Because Some carbs are good, and are essential.

Protein is always good. Especially when you are trying to build lean muscle mass. It is best to try and equal both out so that you get the benefit of having the best of both. You don't ever want to cut out either one of these completely. Good Luck!!!

If you want to go on the Atkins or Southbeach diet then buy their books or videos or get them from the library and study them carefully. You don't have to read the whole book at first, just the first two or three chapters, read them ten times, your body worth that much to you?
