go to the thrift store or used book store and buy old music books and then you can use the pages to decoupage on lamp shades, picture frames, etc.

I'd also use a projector to blow up some notes of tune she likes and stencil it onto the wall - say around a window or bed type of thing.

I saw a show were they used an old clarinet for lamp. just put a base on the horn portion, wired up thru to the reeds and added a lamp assembly and shade.

Paint some large musical notes on the wall with the cleft note thingy. I found a comforter a long time ago that looked like a sheet of music in black and white on one side and red velour on the other. I can't remember where I found it, but I have seen some with random musical notes on them. You could frame some old music sheets, there are a ton of piano books at the thrift stores. I've also seen area rugs in the shape of saxaphones and large string instruments. You can even find old instruments at thrift stores to hang on the walls.

If she is into Rock 'n Roll, everything from back than would look cool . In colors red, white. Stuff like guitars, and wall paper, stuff that you could get in antique fairs etc.

If she is into the 90's look look online for some ideas. I once made my room look like the 90's disco style look. It had a silver disco ball hanging from my ceiling. It was a ball and we had great times hanging out in it.

you could get blank CD's and line them up as like a border on the wall...say, paint half the wall white, and the other half red and use the CD's for the border between the colors. and then use the black as an accent color.
