I'm pro-gay rights and a Christian. I feel those Christians you mention are evangelical and fundamentalists who are full of hatred for everybody that is different than they are.

To address the first part of your question (rather the first statement), yes some people are cruel, and yes some of hose people are cruel while claiming to be Christians, but I can assure you that they will be judged not on what they claim in vain, but rather on what is in their heart. This [your heart] no one knows better that God.
Now, your question. The fact is there have been no valid reports supporting your claim of homosexuality genes, only theories based off of rare, occasional anomalies. So your claim of proof holds no weight.
What is fact, however, is that homosexual tendencies always stem from some kind of (or more likely multiple kinds of) traumatic experiences. All any sexual struggle really comes down to is an absence of genuine love. That absence results in a gap that grows over time and needs to be filled. This is were Satan seeks his opportunity to deceive and fill that gap with short-term temporary fixes that only lead one further away from God. But regardless, God is still trying to reach that person, and so long as that person has a breath they can receive God's grace.

Ok, whatever Christians act hostile to homosexuals are wrong. We are supposed to love everyone regardless of what they do. Nobody is perfect, and we alla re sinners. But there's a difference in continuing a lifestyle that is sinful and sinning, but then asking God for forgiveness. How can a homosexual ask God for forgiveness when they think there is nothing wrong with their lifestyle? You can hate the sin, love the sinner. Wouldn't you love your child even if he/she does wrong? You still love them, but hate their bad ways. And just because animals have it doesn't make it natural. Satan can work through them to for this very purpose. To decieve people into thinking this is natural, when God clearly said this was a sin. Demons have wroked through animals before. Jesus even cast out a legion of demons from a herd of pigs. So it's not unheard of for evil spirits of homosexuality to work through animals. Anything God says not to do is a sin, therefore making it evil.

Everyone has challenges to face in this life. What God expects of us doesn't change. When faced with the challenge we either side with God or not. If we side with God, we work things His way knowing that He knows much more than we do. If we don't, don't worry about it, why should we care what anyone says because we have already justified the behavior.
God has made it clear that sexual relations are to be between a man and a woman within the bonds of marriage. Everyone makes the choice to accept or reject it.

Sometimes, letting go seems like the easiest thing to do. But think about this: you've invested so much of your time and energy into another person; you've made a solemn promise; and you still know there's love, even if it's hiding underneath the surface. This website will show you how to save a marriage and avoid divorce, even if you're the only one trying https://tr.im/RwIqn

Apples and oranges again....
Human beings are not animals.
Human peoples are above creatures of nature and we have dominion over them.
But in all honesty, if you want to believe swans, gerbils, guinea pigs are homosexual, transgender, whatever...though nothing in nature (excluding lab creations & research's genetic alterations) supports it, far be it for me to argue the unsupportable. I do not believe in the Easter Bunny, The Tooth Fairy, or Santa Clause, but I do not jump people nor their children who do.

The Bible states that homosexuality is behavioral, for Paul states that many of the new believers had been delivered from homosexuality in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11,
Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites... will inherit the kingdom of God. And SUCH WERE SOME OF YOU. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.
If it were a genetic thing, then the Bible would not have shown that some were delivered. Your argument is with the Bible. If you do not believe the Bible, then your concern is moot. If you believe the Bible is the Word of God, then it states that you can be born again, transformed by the renewing of your mind, washed and cleansed.
Note also that just because a dog turns and eats its own vomit or dung doesn't make it a "genetic thing" that should now be considered acceptible to mankind. I would not use the animal kingdom for your standard of behavior.

If homosexuality is genetic, why isn't homophobia? I personally was "trained" to be homophobic when I was a teenager and I didn't enjoy it very much. I was given no choice but to work at a service station. I was being bullied and harassed in the back room and then expected to deal with abusive customers who wanted to tell me why I was scared, instead of just paying for their goods and getting on with the transaction. I don't want to complain because that's not Christian. (Philippians 2:14, 15) But I can provide testimony that scared people don't need to talk about somebody else's headspace or ideology in life. Proverbs 14:10 says: "Each heart knows its own bitterness, and no one else can share its joy." When I had it, and hypnosis was used to train my headspace that way from somebody who used Christianity as merely a way to get around the community, no questions asked, it wasn't something that I could verbalise. I was just told that I had to greet each customer according to a certain type of "up-selling" based on their unique look based on their clothing and I was told things to say to those more outlandishly dressed that seemed to offend them, although I think it was a big set-up with catch-phrases in there that I didn't understand. I thought everybody knew that the bully was the bigger coward.
Meanwhile, I personally attribute people's behaviour to mythology. In a money-based society (money = currency), there is a price to be paid for any archetypes one wishes to make use of. Some archetypes are more popular than others, or maybe they suit for different periods in one's life. In any event, the Bible condemns mythology in 1 Timothy 1:3, 4 and 2 Timothy 4:3-5. The second scripture says that mythology is taught by "many teachers" who are "heaped up." The word for "heaped up" is derived from one that means "burial urn." This reminds me of Karen Armstrong's comment in "A Short History of Myth" that mythology began when homo sapiens became homo necans, man the killer. Mythology uses psychic images of public behaviour as if it is liturgical mime and it is not averse to co-opting non-human elements to continue to explain why humans are so murderous in such a way as to let humans off the hook for their choices in life. Homosexual animals doesn't prove anything for me. They act fine if you treat them right. I've been reading about how animals are treated so that they start bobbing their heads up and down and sucking on cage bars in zoos. I liken this to promiscuity. It's learned and the answer is solid literate education delivered without personal comments, and the same goes for animals, except with a simple understanding of the role of food and motivation. Animals just get worn out with the farce of the level of entertainment delivered with "efficiency" that's expected. These are the values of mythology - entertainment and efficiency. Gay appears to derive from Old High German's gahi - "fast or sudden."
The Biblical description of love for Christians includes kindness and patience. It's in 1 Corinthians 13.

I think a lot of it has to do with the times we are living in......Jesus told us that in the latter days it would be like it was in the day's of Noah.....Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed for this very thing with fire and brimstone....scripture tells us that the earth in the last days there will be fire and brimstone falling from the heavens...yes I think it is the signs of the times...
